Data Deletion Request

Request deletion of your Convincr data

This page is for the Convincr app (com.convincr.app), published as "Convincr" on Google Play and the App Store. Convincr has no accounts; each device gets a random anonymous identity and handle (e.g. "Anonymous Fox").

How to request

1. Send an email with the subject "Convincr data deletion" to:
   kutlualtun1971@gmail.com
2. Include the text of the post you want deleted and your in-app handle.
3. We complete your request within 30 days at the latest and confirm by email.

Data that is deleted

• The text of your post and its votes, reactions and "What happened?" outcome
• Report records for that post
• On request, the anonymous profile linked to your handle and all posts from that profile

Data that is kept, and for how long

• Judge points, rank and streak are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
• Server logs kept by our infrastructure provider Supabase (IP address, request time) are retained for security for the log retention period (currently 1 day) and then deleted automatically.
• In-app purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies.
